Psalms, Passion, and Praise

You are invited to join the rev. Brant Piper as he teaches a Lenten Adult Ed class.

The Psalms have served as a source of strength and inspiration for those who accept the challenge of living out their faith, including Jesus as he faced the challenges of his ministry. During the season of Lent the class, “Discovering the Psalms: Passion, Promise, and Praise,” will be offered to deepen our understanding of these gifts of inspiration and will be led by Rev. Brant Piper.

This class will provide a time for spiritual nurture and renewal as we increase our knowledge and appreciation of the Psalms. It is the hope that through this effort, participants will be able to read and pray the psalms with more awareness and sensitivity to the richness present in these deep expressions of faith in God.

The class will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning on March 1st through April 5th . A resource book will be available to provide brief readings to help participants prepare for the class. Please sign up in advance by calling the church.
