The Worship and Music Committee reviews and recommends to Session matters pertaining to the public worship of God, including special services. In meeting this responsibility the Committee is to provide supervision of scheduling, coordination, preparation and celebration of the sacraments. The Committee works to coordinate special seasonal observances (Advent wreath, Lenten and Advent Concerts). The Committee also is responsible for recruitment, training and direction of Tape Ministry workers, the Board of Ushers, Acolytes, Liturgists and sound system volunteers.
            The Committee works with the music staff to develop a ministry of choral and instrumental music with persons of all ages. It is responsible for the care and use of choir robes, music, instruments and vestments owned by the church. The Worship and Music Committee schedules chime playing volunteers and oversees the Pew Minders.
