The Member Care Committee is responsible for the nurture and support of church members in times of need and joy as an expression of the bond of compassion and fellowship shared in the church.
            The Committee coordinates a program of lay visitation to hospitalized members. It is also responsible for providing lay visitation upon homebound members and those in nursing homes through the S.U.N.S.H.I.N.E. Express.  
            The committee is also responsible for the Stephen Ministry program. Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus’ command to love one another. Through one-on-one caring and confidential relationships those who are hurting receive the love and care they need to support them.             The Committee maintains church communication with college students and military personnel while they are away from the community; delivers a rosebud to the parents of newborn infants; and arranges carry-in meals for those in need.
